About

“We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known.” — Brené Brown

My Story

My journey to becoming a life coach began a few years after my husband passed away in 2003.

After experiencing this great loss, I struggled to adjust to my new reality and further struggled with navigating how my friendships, parenting, dating and working life shifted since becoming widowed. It was from this place that I decided to seek help – one way I sought help was through professional life coaching. With hard work, perseverance and professional guidance, I learned how to develop healthy, connected relationships that propelled me into the next chapter of my life.

The knowledge and confidence I gained through my experience with life coaching ignited a passion in me to come alongside others who face similar challenges in their lives. Today, as a certified life coach, I am honored to support and encourage others as they seek growth and lasting change in their lives.

"You're imperfect, and you're wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging."
— Brené Brown

“Life coaching is an ongoing, professional partnership focused on elevating quality of life, work, and relationships. Life coaching differs from counseling or therapy because of it’s emphasis on present life issues and goal-setting to achieve growth.  As a life coach I am committed to helping people learn techniques and simple strategies designed to close the gap between where you are and what you want to achieve in the future.”

Behind the Branding

The Moncada Process Group logo illustrates the collaborative life-coaching experience.  Standing on their own, the individual circles within the design represent a person; special and incomplete in their own unique way.

When these circles connect, a new shape appears.  Each individual circle contributes an integral and meaningful part of the overall design. Through their connection, something beautiful emerges.

The shape at the center represents the strong connection and partnership between members of the group as they grow together in the pursuit of transformative change.

Anatomy of a Process Group

These words describe some of the emotional components that characterize a thriving process group.

As members grow and reflect on their own experience within the group, they’re invited to draw in their own descriptors to the diagram page featured in the group handbook.
